Ocean Resort – Main Beach Apartment
This main beach apartment was aging gracefully but the family wanted to modernise their beach side apartment. So a total strip out was in order.
The biggest challenge in this project was communicating with all the family members in which none lived on the Gold Coast. To the families credit we were able to maintain clear communications that enabled the project to move forward.
Design and selections were communicated by email along with a number of family visits to provide more detail.

My extension required a builder that could solve design issues I was having due to many various limitations set by the existing building. I consulted a number of builders and most placed my job in the too hard basket. Fortunately a neighbour recommended Cain from Monaco Construction as a builder who listens to his clients and delivers high quality results. Cain pinpointed and solved many design issues and recommended changes that enhanced the overall design. The end result was outstanding and Cain’s attention to detail is first class. Monaco Construction has worked on repairs and refurbishments on five properties which are owned by myself and my wife. Cain Wilks is reliable and thorough. Two of the projects involved units in a high rise which only has one lift. This required minimising of the usage of the lift. There are also issues of handling noise and rubbish removal. Cain and his subcontractors handled this well and have subsequently performed work for several other unit owners and the Body Corporate. Some of the work was done with my wife and I living in the unit and Cain minimised the disruption involved. I have no reservations in recommending Monaco Construction”

We have employed the services of Cain Wilks of Monaco Construction to undertake numerous work in & around our medium sized hi-rise building for several years.
We have always found Cain & his employees polite, knowledgeable, helpful, innovative & informative, during all stages of the jobs. Nothing was too much trouble.
